A truly life-changing show about what we all owe each other as human beings. Taking on the many stories we've crafted for ourselves about the afterlife, The Good Place shows how any sort of bureaucracy around trying to grade the human experience would fail, as our lives become ever more intertwined, and ever more complicated. The first season finale made us all ask, "Where could they go from here?" The remaining three seasons took us on a journey that left us crying and laughing, while trying to change the world, just a little.

Absurd, yet thoughtful, The Good Place is probably one of the best sitcoms around, not only able to lure you in with a strong cast and quirky, well-written humor that takes advantage of the freedom that it premise offers, but gives you a emotional exploration of humanity, morality, and what comes next in a fun, easy to enjoy package. It kept itself fresh and reinvented itself every season, yet still delivered a conclusion that felt paid off and worth it.

The Good Place is an absolute masterpiece that made me cry, laugh, and think deeply about good vs. bad. All the main characters are relatable to some degree, having flaws and strengths. The Good Place includes questions about whether people can change, what it means to be human, and whether there is one right system of morality. The final season absolutely wrecked me (in a good way).

The Good Place is one of my favorite shows of all time. Highlighted by shows like the Trolley Problem episode, it breaks down philosophical concepts for the audience in a way that is not condescending, while all the while being thoroughly entertaining. Something I especially love is how the side characters flourish as the series goes on, include Janet, and more.

I 💕 it, I've always been a fan of Ted Danson and he and the rest of the cast were perfect for their characters. Well done

Michael Schur's instincts for comedy are seldom off, and having read his book How to Be Perfect, it's clear that The Good Place came from a place of genuine moral contemplation. Despite that, it's at its best when it's being funny and smart, but isn't quite equipped to tackle the questions it theoretically exists to comment on.
