  • One of Wes Anderson's best works, a story within a story within a story with an impeccable cast carrying out both the tension and the wackiness. The characters are memorable and make their way into your heart forever.

  • As a die hard Wes Anderson fan, this is not one of his best of all time, but stylistic remains impeccable. Great use of miniatures, and great leading characters, though the stunt casting can be distracting at times.

  • A favorite of Wes Anderson's movies. The sets and cinematography are breathtaking with the pastel colors making everything look like a confection. If anyone were new to Anderson's filmography and wanted to know a good place to start, I'd recommend The Grand Budapest Hotel.

Having the Wes Anderson meter cranked up to 10 in Grand Budapest Hotel makes the movie a wondrous celebration of everything that the filmmaker stands for and holds dear to his heart.
