  • The King's Man is currently the weakest of the main Kingsman saga. What started off as a satirical,tongue-in-cheek spy movie franchise followed many of Hollywood's worst practices, crafting an overly-complicated plot that, while it has a good emotional core that feels in line with what was established, is played too straight, especially in the wake of Vaughnn's Argyle that hinted at a wider shared universe. However, the creativity of the franchise is still a wonder to behold, especially within the early 20th-century/WW1 setting, leading to some marvelous action and spectacular stunts.

  • Staggering bad sequel that feels like it was either made as the result of a dare or with the director at gunpoint. Confused, fragmented and boring, with none of the charm of the original.
