My thoughts exactly. I punished myself 4 more times watching. I dunno what's better sadness if Reign...or the best of the Valhalla shows with the last Kingdom . And all of Utred and his fine self. Each and every time I never want to see the very last episode cause I'm sure was so much more to his life my little opinion and maybe should have gone on to some flash backs with his kids and how he taught them I dunno. It was just an amazing show I will watch again as well.... Great writer!!!!!!

It was and still 1 of my favourite Viking flicks that now exist! Love watching it over and over!

I just wished The Last Kingdom didn’t stop.😢 I mean Utred didn’t reach Valhalla, like come on. I was left gutted for weeks. Now, I am watching it all over again for the second time and dreading to watch Seven Kings Must Die knowing the ending.😫 I guessed I had to get over it at some point. I don’t know why this movie series touched me so much🤩🤩

Much more true to history than "Vikings." Both used the Sagas, but this was in chronological​ order, with correct succession, including English documentation from the period. Learned more European history from this than any classroom.

Fictional story added suspense and entertainment to keep the audience engaged and entertained while we learned a thing or 20. Brilliant! Loved it!

I would've followed Uhtred to his grave and his daughter's epic battles thereafter. That said, i know that talent is wanted, and it's hard to keep a good team of writers, wardrobe, cinematics, and set people together when they have better offers elsewhere.

Loved the show story and all it's fantastic actors that made it so great, Watched the whole series all the way through 5 times i really couldn't watch anything else, though I have seen all the others that might compare, Vikings, Vikings vallhalla, Witcher etc. I can't say enough about this show, sometimes moving me to tears, okay, alot of times your writers actors and all crew are simply the best!!, sincerely Dave Hughart a Dane before Saxon.
