The Late Show is a comedy-variety-talk show originally hosted by David Letterman on NBC from 1982 to 1993. After the show moved to CBS, Letterman continued to host until 2015, when he retired and ed the role to Stephen Colbert. The series airs a new episode five nights a week and is filmed at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York.
