  • One of the weaker of the Jurassic Park films, The Lost World has great special effects and heart-racing action, but unfortunately, the plot is not as strong or well-written as the other Jurassic Park films' plots are.

  • One of the stronger Jurassic Park sequels. I think The Lost World's premise is strong, carrying on the themes of corporate neglect and hubris with a good escalation as InGen try to bring dinos to the mainland. Hammond and Malcolm are a fun team, and the ing cast is fine. The San Diego chase is the highlight of the movie however

Synopsis

The Lost World: Jurassic Park, directed by Steven Spielberg, follows Ian Malcolm as he s an expedition to document dinosaurs on a remote island where they've been secretly bred by John Hammond. Set four years after the events in Jurassic Park, this action thriller explores the challenges of observing these prehistoric creatures.
