  • The Purge: Anarchy is a great horror movie that is deeply character-driven rather than focusing on the franchise's wider concept. The narrowed perspective allows audiences to connect with the characters, making the moments more emotional and tense.

  • Almost on the same level as the original Purge movie. This one shows the effects of the Purge on society as a whole, rather than just honing on one specific family's experiences, which offers a more well-rounded perspective. There are also some thought-provoking messages about equality and social classes that I wasn't expecting from what I thought was going to be purely a thriller.
