  • I enjoyed the animation, the acting, the comedy, and the storyline. I appreciate that the turtles actually feel like teenagers for once instead of adults. I actually really enjoyed the new background for Master Splinter, too.

  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem has a habit of focusing too much on comedy instead of story, and some of its changes to the typical lore of the franchise might not sit well with people, most notably its depiction of Splinter, but the chemistry between the turtles is some of the best of any version of the team thanks to how much more emphasis there is on them being teenagers, leading to plenty of great character moments from start to finish. Add in the gorgeous artwork and animation, and it's an all-around good start to the latest animated endeavor for the franchise.
