  • While the pacing could have been better especially on the 3rd act, Trap is still a great, interesting and simple suspenseful film thanks to Josh Hartnett's creepy performance and M. Night Shyamalan's unique direction.

  • Trap is a fantastic entry in M. Night Shyamalan's filmography. Love how offbeat his dialogue is in his movies and I think it works really well here. Josh Hartnett understood the assignment so well, giving his best performance in ages. Liked so much about this. Loses steam towards the end, but everything leading up to it is so good.

Trap Review: Josh Hartnett Gives A Killer Performance in M. Night Shyamalan’s Satisfying Thriller
6/10

While flawed, M. Night Shyamalan’s Trap is a thrilling game of cat and mouse at times and a ridiculous display of human behavior at others.
