Twisted Metal - Franchise

Twisted Metal is a multimedia franchise co-created by David Jaffe and Scott Campbell and initially began with the 1995 video game Twisted Metal for PlayStation. The series centers around vehicular combat, where various drivers are brought together to compete in the Twisted Metal tournament hosted by the sinister Calypso. Winners, however, are always met with a Monkey's Paw-like effect on their wishes, leaving all victories bittersweet.
