I...guess they tried. That's really all I can give them for this. The casting honestly wasn't that bad, but having an iconic show crunched down into a few episodes just did not work. It didn't deliver anything but a very rushed and horrible interpretation of this show and I'm sad to think this might be someone's first exposure to the show. The fact that the Dark Tournament doesn't even exist and Yusuke and Toguro fight so quick, is honestly horrendous to look at. And YOUKO KURAMA. We see Youko Kurama so fast that I honestly couldn't even believe my eyes. I don't know what the goal of this was, but I honestly wish they just hadn't. I wanna pretend this never existed. And honestly, the most engaging part of this was the opening scene of Yusuke being hit by the truck which was SO graphic and long for absolutely no reason to the point that it was both shocking and hilarious. Please don't watch this. Go watch the anime.
