Empire of the Summer Moon and Chief Quanah offer a more exciting alternative. Adapting the story of the Comanche tribe would provide a new cast of characters for viewers to meet and a new world to explore beyond the Yellowstone Ranch.

Taylor Sheridan isn't slowing down, despite his hit series Yellowstone coming to an end after five seasons. Without the Dutton family dynasty to focus on, he needs a new franchise to take their place.
