Teen dramas have been known to set many trends when it comes to fashion. What many fans see some of their favorite characters wear on screen can inspire them to go out and buy similar items, which is why fashion can be such an important part of these shows.
Not only that, but just drama alone isn't enough to pull a viewer in. Fans love to see the characters dress up, wear expensive clothes, and live vicariously through their favorite shows. Not to say that fashion can make a show worth watching, but it can certainly make any series more appealing to the eye. Gossip Girl was famously one of them and it's not alone.

Actress Mindy Kaling created this diverse Netflix series following an Indian teenager trying to fit in at high school while dealing with her own personal struggles at home, including the recent ing of her father.
The main character Devi often wears some of the cutest and coziest outfits on this show. Many of her looks are affordable and easy to mimic for the average teenager. Often wearing cardigans, colorful tops, and cute accessories, Devi's style isn't over the top, yet still super cute.
Glee
This musical series may focus on the theater and putting on a show more than anything else, but it certainly doesn't lack when it comes to style.
With such a huge cast, Glee, viewers can see some stylish preppy looks by Rachel, edgier looks and bold prints worn by Santana, or cute and innocent outfits on Brittany.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
'90s fashion is back in style, so it's hard to ignore the queen of the sexy mini-skirt, knee-high socks, and camisoles, Buffy Summers. Just because she was hunting vampires didn't mean she couldn't look cute while doing it.

While this comedy-drama show focuses heavily on politics, the image of each character is also very dominant as all of their outfits manage to stand out. Lucy Boynton's character Astrid often shines in her tweed dresses, while Ben Platt never fails to impress in his multi-colored suits.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
For a show about witches and demons, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina never sacrifices its sense of fashion. Even in the witch coven, its cast is seen wearing some old fashioned styles with a modern twist.

The CW's Riverdale is one of the most fashionable shows on television at the moment, as it takes heavy inspiration from classic styles from the '60s and '70s and meshes it together with modernized looks.
