Warning: contains spoilers for Teen Titans Academy #2!

The Beast Boy has a hilarious weakness. While his shapeshifting abilities are definitely impressive and give him incredible versatility in battle, Beast Boy can apparently be defeated in whatever form he takes using a surprisingly simple strategy.

Nightwing, Starfire, Cyborg, Raven, Beast Boy, and Donna Troy recently founded the alongside Beast Boy.

As the students in the classroom work together to try and take down a rapidly shapeshifting Beast Boy (for educational purposes, of course), Nightwing approaches Cyborg out in the hall. While Cyborg quickly guesses the issue between Nightwing and Starfire, he quickly realizes Beast Boy's class is getting out of control, and that he should probably get back to teaching. As the two part ways, Cyborg tells the students surrounding Beast Boy, “Aim between his legs! It always works, no matter what form he takes!” Taking the form of a dragon, Beast Boy yells at Cyborgupset that his teammate just gave away a major (and likely pretty painful) weakness.

Nightwing Talks to Cyborg Teen Titans Academy

Beast Boy has a fairly juvenile sense of humor so the fact that he’s vulnerable to groin shots even when he’s transformed is pretty hilarious. He’s the type of guy who would overreact to that type of hit even if he wasn’t technically injured so it’s a fitting, if not entirely foolish, Achilles heel. Of course, there is a way for Beast Boy to take on his students even now they know this fact, as several of his transformations, like snakes and fish, don’t have legs to aim between.

It’s nice to see that Cyborg and Beast Boy's friendship is still flourishing after all their years as Teen Titans and that they’re still ready to poke fun at one another in front of their new students. DC's Future State event depicted a possible future in which Cyborg are fused together as one hero, remaining on good despite their extreme predicament because of the strong bond of friendship that has made them fan-favorite heroes. While the Teen Titans are heroes who face peril on a daily basis, they're also a family, and Cyborg's mocking reveal of Beast Boy's secret weakness is just another sign that the two have grown so close over the years, there aren't many secrets they don't know about each other.
