Since Teen Titans is a superhero show, it obviously has a lot of supervillains within it. Each episode brings a new villain to the screen, though often viewers can see recurring villains, and each season has an overarching antagonist that must be defeated in the season finale.
Many of these baddies manage to stand out for their powers, their cruelty, or just how much fun they are to watch on screen. Sometimes they are loved even more than the main heroes, and a few particular rogues come to mind as the best.
Brother Blood
Brother Blood is season three's main villain, with whom Cyborg has a rivalry. The villain runs the H.I.V.E. Academy, a very fun school for bad guys which Cyborg infiltrates. Brother Blood manages to be intimidating due to his plan of mind-controlling all the heroes, mind control that thankfully Cyborg is able to resist.
Brother Blood is sadistic, charismatic, and very funny at times. His hair and clothes are definitely what a viewer may think of when they picture a classic supervillain. He is also voiced by voice-acting legend John DiMaggio, who brings a lot of humor and personality to the character. Overall, he's great to watch, even when he's being defeated by Cyborg.
Blackfire
Blackfire is Starfire's older sister and arch-rival. Due to their relationship, Blackfire is a very interesting baddie, as viewers wonder how she has turned from a doting sister to an evil dictator. During her time on Teen Titans, she made Starfire want to leave the group, has Starfire framed for a crime Blackfire committed, and then takes over Tamaran.
There are a lot of things about Blackfire that make no sense, but she is ultimately very fun. She manages to convince all of the other Titans to hang out with her, including going shopping and to a warehouse party. This fun translates to her fights with Starfire, which makes them exhilarating to watch.
The Brain And The Brotherhood Of Evil
The Brotherhood of Evil is an incredibly powerful organization, perhaps the most powerful out of all the villains. They manage to capture most of the Teen Titans and their allies and recruit all of the show's previous villains to work for them. This organization is led by the Brain, who has been a problem for heroes like Beast Boy for a long time.
The Brain also has an intimidating appearance and voice, since he is literally just a brain inside a robot suit, and has a robotic voice. This makes him appear unmerciful and unflinching, which he pretty much is. Overall, he's very scary.
Trigon
Trigon is Raven's father, and he is probably the worst dad that anyone could ever have. He wishes to use his daughter to bring about the apocalypse, and he actually manages to do it. He probably causes the most destruction out of all the singular Teen Titan villains, and he is the most powerful.
Trigon is cruel, scary, and mocking towards the Titans. He is not only able to create demonic minions, but he can also take the Titan's worst traits and turn them into evil versions of themselves, which they then have to fight. Trigon instigates very interesting battles, and considering that even Slade s the fight against him, Trigon is definitely a big baddie.
Slade
Slade is probably the biggest villain in the whole show, at least for the effect that he has on the characters. He is a main villain for almost three seasons, and during two of these seasons, he forces one of the teen heroes to become his apprentice. He manages to cause a rift between the group in a way that no other bad guy does.
His armored design and soft voice juxtapose one another, which makes him appear very unnerving. Considering he has no superpowers, he always manages to give the Titans a run for their money during battles. He is definitely one formidable foe, and can be seen in most of Teen Titans' best episodes.
Madame Rouge
Madame Rouge is part of the Brotherhood of Evil, and is one of their most dangerous . Her powers are seemingly infinite, as she can shapeshift, stretch, regenerate, and has incredible strength and speed. This makes her an unstoppable force that even Robin himself can't defeat. The Brotherhood of Evil probably wouldn't have become so powerful if it wasn't for her.
Her red and black design is incredibly striking, and her personality is also very domineering and she loves watching people suffer. She has clearly made an impression on the supervillain world, as many other rogues, such as Jinx, look up to her immensely.
Killer Moth and Kitten
Killer Moth and Kitten are very fun villains, specifically for their relationship with one another. Killer Moth is Kitten's father and will do anything for his spoiled, bratty princess. This includes taking the whole city hostage with mutant moths just so that Robin will take Kitty to prom. The moths themselves are quite intimidating foes, as the Titans are barely able to fight them off.
Kitten is hilarious in how she can be so cruel and conniving for a regular, non-superpowered teenage girl. She tears apart one of the greatest comic book couples, and Kitty later vows revenge on "Robbie Poo" for daring to break up with her.
Terra
Terra is the most tragic out of all the Teen Titans villains. She initially starts off as a hero with powers that she struggles to control. But after a series of events, she is manipulated by Slade into becoming his apprentice, and she suddenly hates the Titans. This character nuance is why Teen Titans is considered one of the best kids' shows.
Terra probably affects the Titans the most, since she was once their friend. Every battle she has with them feels emotionally wrenching, though of course the action always looks great. Terra's control over earth is an incredibly strong ability, and she is able to overpower the Titans one by one in season two.
Jinx And The H.I.V.E Five
Jinx is one of the first villains viewers meet, and she and the H.I.V.E. Five are a great group of rascals. The group also involves See-More, Gizmo, Mammoth, Billy Numerous, and Kyd Wykkyd. Each member has their own individual powers and quirky personality, so they all play off each other very well.
Like the Teen Titans, this group even has its own tower, so they are essentially like the evil version of the Titans. This ultimately makes them very fun to watch, and the schemes they come up with, while not often very intimidating, are always delightfully nasty. Jinx did end up defecting to the Titans, but the rest remained great antagonists.
Red X
Red X is an incredibly fun and charismatic villain. He is almost an anti-hero or a rogue, but he definitely does enough evil things to be counted as a villain. His identity is never discovered since he has stolen Robin's suit and is always wearing it.
He manages to outwit the Titans in battle on numerous occasions, and his red weapons are always new and exciting. He's a great foe particularly because he boils Robin's blood, as Robin must face how much of a mistake he made by creating the Red X suit in the first place. But like Red X says, "I think it looks much better on me."
