Animated series Teen Titans Go! Has been on fans' screens for almost 8 years and is fast approaching its 300th episode. Given the crazy storylines that the creators developed when the show celebrated its 200th episode back in the fourth season of the show, fans can probably expect some equally bizarre occurrences when the big 3-0-0 rolls around.

Teen Titans Go! Is a Teen Titans Go! To The Movies.

Weird: The Teen Titans Break The Fourth Wall

When it came to the 200th episode of Teen Titan Go!, creators Michael Jelenic and Aaron Horvath went all out when it came to weird and wonderful moments.

While the Teen Titans have been guilty of occasionally breaking the fourth wall and addressing the audience directly, the fourth wall was completely smashed in this episode, with the animated heroes interacting with the real world throughout the show. The characters track down versions of Jelenic and Horvath after their animated world starts to disappear around them.

Hilarious: The Studio Is Decorated With Real Teen Titans Fan Art

Teen Titans Go! have some of the most dedicated and imaginative fans, many of whom have created their fan art over the years.

Michael Jelenic and Aaron Horvath concluded that the momentous 200th episode was the perfect opportunity to pay tribute to this creativity, and if fans keep their eyes peeled on the walls of the animated animation studio in the episode, they can see what look like real examples of fan art of the Teen Titans and other Cartoon Network characters.

Weird: The Characters End Up Fighting With Their Own Voice Actors

The Teen Titans may have broken the fourth wall before to speak directly to their audience, but the 200th episode was the first time that the Teen Titans Go! crew got involved in the fun.

When the Teen Titans’ world starts to disappear, they head into the real world to find an explanation, and they even meet up with their voice actors, who end up playing themselves – in animated form, of course – as well as the characters that they voice. That must have been a confusing section to record…

Hilarious: Tara Strong Showing Off Her Voice Acting Skills

This might be one of the weirdest Teen Titan Go! scenes (against some pretty stiff competition!) but it does show off the extraordinary talents of the voice actors on the show, especially Tara Strong.

Strong voices Raven on Teen Titans Go! but when the actor meets her characters, she boasts that she can do the voices of other Cartoon Network animated heroes and proceeds to run through some of her other roles, such as Bubbles from the Powerpuff Girls and Timmy from The Fairly Odd Parents.

Weird: They Even Confront The Teen Titans Go! Writers

It isn’t just the Teen Titans Go! voice actors who make an unexpected appearance in the 200th episode; the Titans also go looking for writers Michael Jelenic and Aaron Horvath when they are looking for an explanation as to what is happening to their disappearing world.

The gang hunts them down at their homes, where we also meet Michael’s father who is voiced by his actual dad, Albert, and finally track them down at a local coffee shop where they get into a serious fight.

Hilarious: Running Gags From Previous Episodes

The Self-Indulgent 200th Episode Spectacular may have a quirky new storyline, but fans will also recognize some of their favorite running gags from earlier episodes of the show – including plenty of lowbrow toilet humor!

Within the show, the Teen Titans make plenty of jokes at the writer’s expense, which is a clever twist, and the voice actors spend a lot of time complaining about their tough work schedule – which must have been great fun for them, even if the gags were written by their real-life bosses!

Weird: Aaron's "Child" Turns Into A Dinosaur

One of the weirdest scenes in the episode happens when the Teen Titans find themselves hanging out with Aaron’s son, Graham, who is also played by his real kid (Aaron’s daughter Stella also makes an appearance in the episode. Graham asks the Titans to play-fight with him while they wait for his father, before using his imagination to transform into an actual dinosaur which easily defeats the Teen Titans gang.

The moment is supposed to be all about the power of imagination but is just a rather bewildering development.

Hilarious: The Teen Titans Hit Back At Their Internet Haters

Jelenic and Horvath decided to have a bit of fun with their 200th episode, taking the opportunity of the show breaking the fourth wall to hit back at some of their haters. Some fans of the original Teen Titans show have never really embraced the new Teen Titans Go! series and have been very vocal about their hatred of the cartoon on the internet.

In one scene in the Self-Indulgent 200th Episode Spectacular, fans can see a background character wearing a t-shirt that says, “Teen Titans No!”

Weird: The Teen Titans Write A Terrible Episode For Themselves

When their world starts to disappear, the Teen Titans conclude that they need to write their episode to save themselves. Unsurprisingly, the script they come up with isn’t great and consists mainly of fart jokes at the expense of the real writers.

The cartoon Michael and Aaron are less than impressed and give them some tips as to how to create believable make-believe. It seems as though all hope is lost, but Jump City is miraculously saved – just in time for episode 201!

Hilarious: Fart Jokes

The real writers might not have been impressed with the Teen Titans’ fart-filled script, but the real show loves nothing more than a good fart joke – and there is plenty of toilet humor in their Self-Indulgent 200th Episode Spectacular.

The end of the episode even features a cacophony of fart fanfares as Jump City slowly starts to reappear and the Teen Titans are saved. The characters love nothing more than to giggle at a fart gag, and flatulence is responsible for the most enduring running joke on the show.
