The first episode of DONTNOD Entertainment’s latest game, Tell Me Why spans three episodes, the first of which can be ed on either Xbox One and PC.
The developers announced the deal on Tell Me Why's Twitter overnight. The first chapter of the three-part story has been made free for anyone, with all the episodes in the game available as a part of Xbox Game for Xbox One and PC.
"Now you can experience the first part of this award-winning, best-in-class narrative adventure from DONTNOD Entertainment and Xbox Game Studios at no cost - and if you enjoy the first chapter, the rest of the game is now more affordable than ever," the developers wrote on Twitter. The developer also pinned a tweet directing s to an FAQ page where they can learn more about the game, including instances of violence and misgendering that some players may not be comfortable with.
Late last year, DONTNOD Entertainment revealed that the French video game development studio has over six new projects in the works, including Twin Mirror, which released back in December. While the developers at DONTNOD are known for their work on the narrative cult classic game Life Is Strange, the studio may be looking to move away from the narrative storytelling market and into genres not yet explored by the developers.
