This made it one of the highest-grossing horror movies in 2024, a level of success that seemingly guaranteed long-standing popularity for the franchise. However, it appears Leone has decided the story will end in the next installment, bringing a conclusion to Art and Sienna's storyline.

Given how little is known about Art's origins, Terrifier 4's story could reveal why he's so connected to supernatural forces, while also indicating why he went about his first killing spree. The information revealed could bring the franchise full circle, tying into Sienna's rescue mission as she tries to find a way to Hell.
