The younger characters would be in their thirties whereas Eric's parents would be in their upper sixties or early seventies. This would give a reunion the chance to focus on the characters after they were set in adulthood with families, careers, or major life changes. It would also be an amusing full-circle moment since the series initially debuted in the '90s. Nostalgia-driven content, especially the '90s, is still in high demand at the moment.
For a That '70s Show reunion to work, it would need to be a limited series or as Valderrama mentioned, a follow-up movie. It would only attract viewers if the majority of the cast were on board. It seems as though they are all interested, but Danny Masterson's recent sexual assault allegations may throw a wrench in his hopes for a reunion. The actor was fired from his role on The Ranch with That '70s Show costar, Ashton Kutcher, following the allegations.
