BEST: CLARKE VS. BELLAMY

Clarke and Bellamy arguing in the first season of The 100

Clarke and Bellamy may make an exceptional team, but they also make great rivals. With such opposite perspectives, it was no surprise that Clarke and Bellamy would clash during the early days on the Ground. While their characters have no history or backstory going into the pilot, they did have drastically different lifestyles. While Clarke grew up in the more prosperous part of the Ark, Bellamy's family was always struggling. However, what made them great adversaries also allowed them to be a terrific duo. Even when they are fighting, Clarke and Bellamy can still make each other understand the other's point of view.

WORST: BELLAMY VS. OCTAVIA

The 100 Clarke, Octavia, and Bellamy

Bellamy was horrified when he saw the state the bunker was in after six years. Learning that many people Octavia was meant to keep alive had died clearly threw him through a loop. However, Bellamy tends to judge Octavia's choices before learning the full story. Octavia had been placed in a nearly impossible position without the leadership experiences Bellamy and Clarke had been accustomed to. Octavia also disagreed with Bellamy's relationship with Echo, reminding Bellamy that Echo had attempted to kill her. Their different perspectives on how to live in the valley do not help their dissolving relationship.

BEST: ABBY VS. CLARKE

When the residents of the Ark crashed to the ground at the end of "We Are Grounders, Part 2," it was expected that there would be conflict. Paying a testament to that, season two delivered spectacularly. While there were various conflicts between the adults from the Ark and Bellamy Blake, the struggle centered on the changed relationship between Clarke and Abby. Abby believed her position as the Chancellor and experience gave her plenty of authority. However, the Grounders were more interested in having a working alliance with Clarke. Although Abby was insistent that Clarke was still a child, Clarke had long ago outgrown being a little girl and proved that in every move she made.

WORST: CLARKE VS. RAVEN

The 100 Clarke and Raven.

Clarke and Raven found a tentative friendship after learning the truth about Finn's relationships with each of them. As time went on, Clarke and Raven relied on each other and helped each other find ways to survive. Unfortunately, six years apart changed that, and Raven was bitter about Clarke's decisions in season five. However, Raven made it about more than those choices, reminding Clarke of things she had done previous to Praimfaya. Although they seemed to make up at the end of season six, Clarke and Raven's rivalry did not make much sense.

BEST: SKAIKRU VS. GROUNDERS

Richard Harmon and Luisa D'Oliveira in The 100

Discovering that they were not the only people on Earth, the Delinquents realized they had to step up their game survival wise. During the first season, the Delinquents had to find a way to survive by testing food, finding weapons, and utilizing medical supplies. By "We Are Grounders, Part One," the war between the Grounders and the Delinquents was coming closer. However, their conflicts do not end there. Although they eventually band together, Skaikru and the Grounders learn to deal with problems such as weapons and how to handle the oncoming death wave during season four. The fourth season also featured the Conclave, forcing allies to become enemies.

WORST: MADI VS. SHEIDHEDA

Like Clarke and Josephine, Madi's rivalry with Sheidheda takes place entirely within the confines of Madi's mind. However, while Josephine was forced upon Clarke, the Flame was willingly taken by Madi. Clarke's disapproval, clearly stating that it was a bad idea, comes to fruition as Madi struggles with the overpowering force of the Dark Commander possessing Madi. Sheidheda's motive is to get Commanders to turn against their teachers, such as making Madi conflict with Gaia. The two fought for control of Madi's body until Clarke, Raven, and Gaia needed to remove the Flame from Madi's head forcibly.

BEST: OCTAVIA VS. ABBY

Octavia and Abby's relationship takes a dark turn in season five. While their problems are alluded to, the truth does not come out until "The Dark Year." Realizing that survival in the bunker may be more difficult than they believed, Octavia and Abby, along with others, search for solutions. Although Octavia is against cannibalism and forcing it on others, Abby convinces her it is the only way. As Octavia transforms in Blodreina, Abby steps back from her, blaming the horror of their situation entirely on the younger woman's shoulders. Octavia is left betrayed and standing alone.

WORST: EVERYONE VS. A.L.I.E.

The 100 Erica Cerra as Beca and ALIE, Eliza Taylor as Clarke

After tackling the basic survival of Earth and the people of Mount Weather, "Wanheda: Part One" picks up a few months later. Throughout the season, Jaha brings A.L.I.E. back to the people of Arkadia. Believing to have found a home in the City of Light, Jaha wishes to have everyone him. The chip also acts as a mind control device, forcing all those who use it to act out in anger to save a sanctuary that does not exist. Jasper and Raven also fall to A.L.I.E., wishing to escape their harsh realities. When A.L.I.E. is finally destroyed, it is with the parting gift that the end of the world is coming.

BEST: CLARKE VS. JOSEPHINE

The 100 Josephine wakes up in Clarke's body

Season six introduced a brand new conflict to the show when everyone explores Sanctum. Part of the mystery of the Primes showed that they had been implanting their mind chips into innocent people with night blood for centuries. Starting in "The Face Behind the Glass," Josephine Lightbourne takes over Clarke Griffin's body for a few episodes. On the outside, Josephine is controlling Clarke's body and interactions, trying to off as Clarke to her friends. On the inside, Clarke is stuck, a prisoner in her mind and body. Internally, Clarke and Josephine fight for control in a way that is a new experience for The 100.

WORST: CLARKE AND MURPHY

Murphy and Clarke began as enemies during the early days on the Ground. Through the seasons, they formed an understanding. However, their dynamic was another casualty of the time jump. Clarke and Murphy's changed priorities affect their dynamic as they take a few steps back in their relationship. However, given that Murphy had been given many chances after his worse actions, it does not make as much sense that he would be so against Clarke. Making it worse, the two could be quite similar when it came to being known to survive anything. However, they seemed to regain some part of their relationship when Murphy discovers that Clarke is back, and Josephine is gone.
