Jack Dodge & Carson McCulley Won The Season
They're The Amazing Race Season 37 Victors
In season 37, another Jack, Jack Dodge, was crowned the winner, after besting castmates in a series of grueling challenges. Alongside Jack was his partner, Carson McCulley. Dodge recently spoke with TV Line about his win with Carson. He clearly found the experience life-changing:
Yeah, it’s been insane. I spent hours last night crying, mostly for good reasons, of just being overwhelmed by all the love that was in the room with us last night, and the releasing of a big secret that we’ve had. It’s been the most insane and amazing 48 hours
So much energy goes into winning the show. It's an undertaking and many people who appear on the series wash out early. The pressure is just too much. Some contestants lack physical prowess, or courage in frightening challenges - others can't solve puzzles, or struggle to things. So many problems can occur, including interpersonal difficulties with a competition partner. So, those who rise to the top definitely have talent and grit.
Jack and Carson won by doing the best in the finale, and by being consistently great players throughout the 37th installment. They both finished a puzzle and headed to LoanDepot Park. That was the location of the season's finish line. Adrenaline must have been pumping through their veins as they headed for the venue.
That's where the Miami Marlins baseball team plays.
Watching those kinds of victories must have made the late producer, Jack Walworth, so happy. Through so many seasons, he was able to enjoy seeing the fruits of his labor on television, knowing how hard he worked to make sure the series was a high-quality program. Production is challenging - there are so many moving parts. Since he had co-workers who had his best interests at heart, he was able to develop his talent to the highest level.
Some co-workers are ruthless, trying to bring others down. They might be too competitive, or have other ulterior motives. Clearly, on The Amazing Race set and in its production offices, that toxic dynamic wasn't present. It was a place where Jack was respected. Maybe the respect he gave others was returned. Jack, a caring family man and long-time member of Hollywood's TV community, accomplished so much during his lifetime.
It's unclear when Jack ed away. However, more information may become available later on. For now, fans can read about Jack and understand more about his contributions to the program. The Amazing Race season 38 will debut in the fall, although a premiere date hasn't been announced yet. It may be bittersweet for the production team to film the show without Jack at the helm.
The Amazing Race Season 38 Should Be Thrilling
The Trailer Isn't Available Yet
As the production team comes to with the loss of Jack, they're preparing to create another season. Meanwhile, the official The Amazing Race Instagram hasn't been updated since before season 37 premiered. Right now, there's no trailer for The Amazing Race season 38. So, the next installment is in pre-production.
After this great loss, it'll be difficult for the team, but they will be able to move on and create the sort of compelling entertainment that Jack believed in making. Looking back, and ing when he was running things, may hurt some crew . However, The Amazing Race crew can honor his spirit by making sure the show is as great as Jack would want it to be.
