Bachelor Lawsuits

Clayton Echard Susie Evans Bachelor

As a site that's dedicated to spoiling the outcome of The Bachelor franchise, Reality Steve has been sued by NZK Production and Horizon Alternative Television, a division of Warner Bros, multiple times. The first instance was in 2011, during the sixteenth season of The Bachelor. Steve was sued for soliciting information from individuals who were under an NDA contract. Reality Steve, who revealed Clayton as the lead maintained his innocence, but with the legal bills piling up, he settled and agreed to not anyone d with the franchise. Reality Steve claims that he never goes out in search of spoilers; sources come to him. This claim didn't stop another lawsuit the following year, accusing Steve of breaching the settlement. This second lawsuit was privately settled and Steve continues to spoil each season.

Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert snuggling on a couch

Popular Bachelor podcast Chatty Broads, which features former contestant Bekah Martinez and her co-host Jess Ambrose unearthed past blog posts by Reality Steve that were full of misogynistic views. Most of these posts were aimed at Bachelor 19 and former contestant Jade Tolbert (née Roper). They were mainly focused on stigmatizing her past with Playboy and lewd comments about her sexuality. Reality Steve took to Twitter to issue an apology stating: "I'm embarrassed I thought that way, I'm embarrassed I wrote it, and ever since, I've done whatever I could to change that line of thinking."
