Zoe Kravitz has just confirmed what her The Batman will look like. She started showing off a new, pixie-like hairdo back in November, leading fans to speculate if the look would carry over into DC’s spin-off film – and they now have the answer.

There still isn’t much known about Selina Kyle’s role in The Batman, but it’s believed the prequel will explore the origins of her complicated on-again/off-again relationship with Bruce Wayne and his heroic alter-ego. The popular belief is that director Matt Reeves is drawing plot elements from the 1996 comic series John Turturro’s casting as Falcone in November lends weight to this storyline being used in The Batman, although nothing’s been confirmed yet.
Regardless of what she’ll be up to during the events of the film, Zoe Kravitz is certainly looking the part of Gotham’s toughest cat burglar. The closely cut hair is a departure from previous Catwomen such as Julie Newmar, Michelle Pfeiffer, or Anne Hathaway, but it makes sense for someone wearing a tight-fitting, cat-shaped cowl over her head. Kravitz’s look also bears a strong resemblance to Selina’s more recent appearances in the comics, which will be a plus for fans. Moviegoers will get the chance to see her version of Catwoman when The Batman hits theaters in 2021.
