The Beekeeper is now climbing up the streaming charts. Released toward the beginning of 2024, this David Ayer-directed movie sees Statham play a former intelligence operative who becomes involved with a mysterious group called the Beekeepers as he seeks revenge against the scammers who wronged his well-meaning landlady (Phylicia Rashad). In addition to Statham, The Beekeeper cast also includes Emmy Raver-Lampman, Bobby Naderi, Jeremy Irons, and Josh Hutcherson. The film brought in $152.7 million at the box office, representing a decent total considering its $40 million budget.

The Beekeeper opened on the same weekend as the Mean Girls musical, so it never claimed No. 1 at the domestic box office at any point during its theatrical run, despite its success.

The movie was also a solid critical success. On Rotten Tomatoes, more than 175 different critics' reviews have been aggregated to earn it a solidly Fresh 71% score, while its audience score is a Verified Hot 92%.
