Fukuhara spoke about the finale of The Boys at 2024's D23 , expressing her shock at the fact that her character spoke for the first time in the series. She went on to express her love of Gen V and praised Germann and Phillips' performances, as their characters' actions led to that pivotal moment for Kimiko in season 4.

Gen V's season 1 ending showcased Marie (Jaz Sinclair) and her friends trapped inside a doorless room, with the implication that they were captured by Vought after the season's events. If this is true, then Kimiko could make a cameo in season 2, as the captured of The Boys could be held in the same facility.
From there, Kimiko could ask Marie and her friends to help and act as a surprise weapon against Homelander's supe army, allowing The Boys and Gen V to collide in a true superhero standoff.
The two groups could find a way to communicate with each other, with Kimiko being the go-between due to her own abilities. She could find that Marie and her friends are much like The Boys in their anger at Homelander, allowing the two groups to combine forces to break out of the Vought facility. From there, Kimiko could ask Marie and her friends to help and act as a surprise weapon against Homelander's supe army, allowing The Boys and Gen V to collide in a true superhero standoff.
