Johnny Bananas or Chris "CT" Tamburello, many consider him to be one of the better male contestants across the franchise. Unfortunately for viewers, Cory isn't planning on returning to The Challenge in the near future. Two stories have been given for Cory's absence: Cory says that he is choosing not to return to the series to spend more time with Taylor and his daughters, while MTV reportedly barred him due to being unvaccinated during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Before meeting Taylor, Cory was briefly involved with Cheyenne Floyd, who now stars as a main cast member on Cory and Taylor have remained together since her first pregnancy, although not without its set of challenges: besides figuring out how to co-parent with Cheyenne, Taylor was barred from appearances on Teen Mom after offensive Tweets surfaced.
Cory, Taylor, and the rest of their blended family have something to celebrate now that Ryder and Mila Mae are about to have another sibling. Announcing the good news on Instagram, the couple is expecting a boy; one pointed out that Mila's hand has residual blue chalk on it, while another mentioned that Cory's choice in emoji usually references a baby boy. Besides his children, Cory also made sure to thank Taylor, saying, "I don't know too many people [who have] put up with me for as long as you have. I love you [baby] and I can't wait to start this adventure with you and continue to build this family up." The sentiment was shared by Young & Pregnant star Kayla Sessler.
While Cory and Taylor patiently wait for their little one to arrive, Cheyenne is busy planning her wedding to fiancé Zach Davis; the 29-year-old gave birth to her second child, Ace, with Zach last May. Season 38 of The Challenge is expected to begin filming this spring, but it's clear that regardless of vaccination status, Cory's shifted priorities will inhibit his return to reality competitions for the time being.
