Screen Rant is thrilled to present an exclusive new clip from the Apple TV+ series The Crowded Room. The show is inspired by Daniel Keyes' book The Minds of Billy Milligan, and centers around Tom Holland's character Danny who's being investigated for his involvement in a shooting. Alongside Holland, The Crowded Room stars The Dropout's Amanda Seyfried, Dopesick's Will Chase, and Conversations With Friends' Sasha Lane.
The Crowded Room is a period-set psychological thriller, taking place in New York City in 1979. Seyfried stars as Rya, an investigator whose interrogations with Danny slowly unravel his mysterious backstory. As their interviews before Danny's trial progress, it becomes clear that there's more to both the crime and his mental state than meets the eye.

Screen Rant's exclusive clip takes place during a pivotal moment in the interrogation between Rya and Danny. Rya tells Danny there's "some things that happened at Rockefeller Center" they've yet to discuss, but is worried that it will be upsetting for him when they do. Danny responds with complete confusion, prompting Rya to grab a videotape for them to watch together - typically, she would wait to show him its contents but has no choice with his trial date looming. The clip ends ominously, with Rya bracing an increasingly nervous Danny for what they're about to see.
In the sixth episode of The Crowded Room, it was revealed that Danny has Dissociative Identity Disorder, which gives him distinctly different personalities that he is completely unaware of. Considering Danny seems to have no memory of what happened at Rockefeller Center, it's possible he was acting as one of his alters at the time, which may have been captured on video. Whatever it is that the tape contains, viewers will have to wait until this Friday to find out in the latest episode of The Crowded Room.
