Adam Driver, whose early work included Francis Ha and Inside Llewyn Davis, along with the HBO comedy series Girls, has an ongoing and expansive film slate. From acclaimed dramas, with varying budgets, to blockbuster franchises, his acting career enchants audiences and renowned Hollywood talent alike. Over the years, Driver has appeared in movies helmed by Clint Eastwood, Martin Scorsese and Ridley Scott. He also received consecutive Academy Award nominations in 2018 and 2019 for his performances in BlacKkKlansman and Marriage Story, directed by Spike Lee and Noah Baumbach, respectively.
Despite having starred in prominent award contenders, Driver is no stranger to genre movies. His most famous, and potentially debatable, role to date is Kylo Ren from Star Wars, a former antagonist who died in the 2019 sequel, The Rise of Skywalker. He also appeared in Midnight Special and 65, portraying an astronaut who inadvertently crash lands on what is revealed to be a prehistoric Earth. Driver’s most recent project, though underwhelming in of critical and commercial success, was Megalopolis, the sci-fi epic from director Francis Ford Coppola.

Our Take On The Dead Don't Die Becoming A Streaming Hit
It May Finally Expand Its Audience
Surprisingly, The Dead Don’t Die never made a lot of noise upon its original release, only grossing $15.3 million globally. It is hard to believe that an unfortunate Rotten Tomatoes score is what prevented anyone from watching it, especially with a star-studded cast featuring Driver, Murray and Gomez. However, now that the movie is generating buzz, thanks to streaming, it may finally be able to expand its audience and gain recognition as a unique entry in the popular zombie genre.
