Screen Rant is excited to present an exclusive clip from the fifteenth episode of The Equalizer season 3, "No Way Out." The Equalizer first premiered on CBS in 2021 as a rebook of the 1980s classic television series and Denzel Washington's action movie trilogy. Co-created by star and executive producer Queen Latifah, along with executive producers Richard Lindheim and Michael Sloan.
The CBS series follows former CIA operative and single mother Robyn McCall (Latifah) as she uses her skills to help people with nowhere else to go. McCall's team includes Mel Bayani (Liza Lapira), a bar owner with a past as a military sniper, and Harry Keshegian (Adam Goldberg), a white-hat hacker with a paranoid streak. McCall has a hard time connecting with her daughter, especially after she learns of her vigilante activities. Check out this exclusive clip from "No Way Out," which airs on CBS on April 23.
More About The Equalizer Season 3, Episode 15: “No Way Out”
Screen Rant's exclusive clip from the new episode of The Equalizer shows Aunt Vi speaking with Detective Dante about her friend Angie. Vi suspects that Angie is in an abusive relationship, recognizing the signs, although she hasn't itted it to her. Detective Dante its that he has seen victims protecting their abs many times before. He tells Vi that the police receive more than 600 domestic violence calls per day. Vi is desperate to find a way to help Angie, but the police can't intervene unless Angie talks to them and reports the abuse.
The team behind The Equalizer consulted with domestic violence organizations, including the Jenesse Center, an LA-based domestic abuse treatment center that is dedicated to helping domestic abuse survivors move forward with their lives. The Jenesse Center gave The Equalizer crew insight into the psychology of the dynamic between domestic abs and their victims. They also provided resources and statistics about domestic violence, which were incorporated into the story, including Screen Rant's exclusive clip.
While Aunt Vi struggles to help Angie, she looks for help from both the police and McCalls and her team. While they work to help Aunt Vi's friend, McCall is also teaching her daughter situational awareness, and Detective Dante goes against orders to hunt down the man who shot his friend. The series was renewed for a third and fourth season last May, with new episodes airing every Sunday on CBS and available to stream on Paramount+.
The Equalizer episode "No Way Out" airs April 23 at 8pm ET/PT.
