Guy Ritchie's The Gentlemen season 2 was confirmed for renewal not long after season 1 ended, promising to continue the story of Eddie Horniman (Theo James) and his dealings with the Glass crime family. This includes continuing to work with Susie Glass (Kaya Scodelario) as they strengthen their criminal enterprise, promising that they'll do whatever it takes to keep growing in power.
Now, Netflix has released a new behind-the-scenes video, confirming The Gentlemen season 2 is now in production. The video sees James and Scodelario getting into their character costumes and leaving their trailers. Fellow stars Vinny Jones, who plays Geoffrey, and Joely Richardson, who plays Sabrina, greet them when they leave. As they walk on set, they get into character, both armed with shotguns they aim to the sky. Text confirms shooting for season 2 has begun, featuring one last close-up, serious shot of James. What The Gentlemen Season 2 Shooting Means For The Series
Eddie & Susie's Story Is Close To Continuing
The Gentlemen season 1 ended with Bobby Glass (Ray Winstone) seemingly on the verge of retirement, with enemies closing in on all sides. The season 1 finale sees Eddie arrange for Stanley Johnston (Giancarlo Esposito) to be arrested for tax fraud, while he kills Henry Collins (Max Beesley). It's soon revealed Bobby doesn't plan on retiring yet, having used the idea as a test to see if the core duo of the show have what it takes to run his empire when he does step back. This confirms the pair are far from done working together under Susie's father.

The duo appear more comfortable around one another than ever before, their seriousness indicating the level of trust between them moving forward.
