Gerry, a 72-year-old retired restaurateur from Hudson, Indiana, and Theresa, a 70-year-old financial services professional from Shrewsbury, New Jersey, had an instant connection when they met on premiere night, which also happened to be Theresa's 70th birthday. Gerry later chose her for his first one-on-one date, during which they danced with a flash mob to Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'," which became the theme of their relationship.

Throughout The Golden Bachelor, Gerry and Theresa's relationship continued to grow. They bonded over the losses of their spouses, Toni and Billy, and gave each other hope that they could find another love in their lives. Gerry & Theresa’s Italy Honeymoon Could Make A Great Series

During The Golden Bachelor season finale, the show gave Gerry and Theresa a trip to Italy, which they announced they'd use for their honeymoon. In an Instagram post, Theresa wrote about the honeymoon, stating, "Having so much fun planning and dreaming about our honeymoon in May to Italy…flying into Rome, spending a few days in Tuscany and then heading down to Sorrento and the Amalfi coast. I’ve been to Italy twice, once when I was 18, and again to visit my daughter when she studied abroad there. I can’t wait to experience it with Gerry!" In the comments section, she revealed that it would be Gerry's first time visiting Italy.

Although Theresa and Gerry have been in the public eye for quite some time, and will most likely want to keep their honeymoon private, it would be delightful if they filmed some of it for a spin-off series. It would be great fun to see Theresa and Gerry exploring Italy together as an older couple on their honeymoon. Gerry & Theresa’s Families Are Lovely

Throughout The Golden Bachelor and the Golden Wedding, Bachelor Nation had the privilege of meeting Gerry and Theresa's lovely family . During Theresa's hometown date, viewers met her sisters, Mary and Charlotte, her daughter, Jen, her son-in-law, Matt, and three of her six grandsons. They were all wonderful people who would be fantastic to watch as ing players on a reality television show about their lives.

During The Golden Bachelor, fans also met Gerry's daughters, Angie and Jenny, and his granddaughters, Payton and Charlee. In addition, Gerry's son-in-law, Rob, and Theresa's son, Tommy, her daughter-in-law, Amanda, and three more of her grandsons were introduced at the Golden Wedding. During The Golden Bachelor, Theresa's grandsons stole the show with their adorable commentary, so it would be fun to see them onscreen again. Also, it would be very interesting to see how Gerry and Theresa's families have come together since the Golden Wedding because they all seemed to get along so well during the show.

The Golden Bachelor Contestants Could Make Appearances

Theresa and Gerry became such great friends with the other Golden Bachelor contestants that they invited all of them to the Golden Wedding. In fact, Susan Noles was their wedding officiant, and Kathy Swarts was a Gold Carpet correspondent, interviewing guests as they arrived at the event. In addition, Leslie Fhima, Faith Martin, Ellen Goltzer, Sandra Mason, Joan Vassos, April Kirkwood, Nancy Hulkower, Edith Aguirre, Natascha Hardee, Anna Zalk, and Patty James were guests at the wedding.

A Golden Bachelor spin-off would surely feature some get-togethers with the Golden ladies, which would be very fun and exciting to see.
