The Golden Bachelorette's Chock Chapple is one of the front-runners in the competition for Joan Vassos' heart, but there are signs that he's not over his late fiancé. Chock is a 60-year-old insurance executive and single father of two from Wichita, Kansas. He was one of 24 single older men who came to The Bachelor mansion from all over the country to win Joan's heart. Joan was Bachelor Nation royalty, as she made her television debut during Gerry Turner's season of The Golden Bachelor.

Due to a family emergency, Joan had to leave Gerry's season early, but she got a second chance at finding love on national television when she was chosen to lead The Golden Bachelorette season 1. On premiere night, Joan stood outside The Bachelor mansion as a fleet of limousines delivered the 24 men who'd be vying for her final rose. Among the men was Chock, who hit it off with Joan immediately. As the show heads into hometown dates, Chock is one of Joan's favorite suitors, but there are signs he's not over his late fiancé.

Chock Lost His Fiancé

He Has A Complicated Romantic Past

Chock was married to Heather Chapple, with whom he had two children, for 12 years. The marriage ended in divorce, but Chock and Heather share an amicable co-parenting relationship. Being friendly with his ex-wife is a positive sign of Chock's character.
