Lord Of The Rings, but it proved to be just as adventurous and enjoyable. With another fantastic ensemble cast, there are tons of characters throughout these three movies which prove to be varied in skills and personality.

Everyone within this quest brings something different to the table, and without each member, the quest wouldn't become a success. But with every character in the trilogy being so different, which one are you most alike?

Aries - Gandalf

Ian McKellen as Gandalf in The Hobbit Desolation of Smaug

Gandalf is the one character who appears in all six of Peter Jackson's Middle Earth journeys and he works as a true leader in each of them. For The Hobbit, he leads the company of dwarves in their quest to regain their homeland and his leadership qualities make him a strong Aries.

People in this zodiac tend to have a cheerful disposition and there's no doubt that is the case with Gandalf. He always can be seen with a smile on his face, greeting others in a warm manner which always relaxes others.

Taurus - Bard the Bowman

Bard Cropped

Bard the Bowman is the true human hero of The Hobbit trilogy, being the man who is able to bring down Smaug to end the dragon's reign of terror. He fights for what he believes in and while Bard can be fairly grumpy in his mood, having a short temper, that is only down to how ionate he is.

He's also a very strong and powerful character and someone who is a skilled fighter. These traits all align him well with the Taurus zodiac, as people in this sign are often reliable and strong, which Bard certainly is.

Gemini - Bilbo Baggins

Bilbo runs through a field in The Hobbit

The true hero of the story, Bilbo Baggins might not be the strongest, the wisest, or the most cunning, but he certainly has tons of bravery which see him through. Bilbo initially is hesitant to the quest, but his desire for adventure eventually shines through, which makes him a true Gemini.

People in this zodiac are very adventurous and they love to try new things and push themselves, which this quest certainly does for Bilbo. However, people who are in the Gemini zodiac can often be indecisive, and that very much sums up Bilbo as well.

Cancer - Bofur

Bofur talking to someone In The Hobbit

Bofur is one of the thirteen dwarves who take on the quest to reclaim the mountain from Smaug and he is incredibly loyal to Thorin and the rest of the company throughout the journey. He is dependable and someone who can be trusted, but he also likes to have fun and bring a lot of joy to the group.

Out of all the dwarves, he is arguably the most caring. Straight away he helps Bilbo Baggins and doesn't judge him for not being as strong, like some of the other characters do. His caring nature along with his reliability is what would place Bofur into the Cancer zodiac.

Leo - Thorin Oakenshield

Richard Armitage as Thorin in Hobbit Desolation of Smaug

Thorin Oakenshield is the leader of the dwarf company that takes back the mountain and is a very brave and confident character. He is a born leader who inspires everyone else around him, not so much by what the says, but more by the actions that he provides.

His leadership qualities make him the ideal Leo, as people in this zodiac do tend to be great leaders who are often very proud people. That is certainly the case for Thorin, and it is through that pride that he takes the company on the quest to reclaim their homeland to begin with.

Virgo - Legolas

Orlando Bloom as Legolas in The Lord of the Rings

Legolas is another character from the Lord Of The Rings trilogy that made his return for The Hobbit where fans got to see a younger version of the character. This version of Legolas was a little more reckless, but he was still just as effective when it came to fighting.

A big reason for that is how creative the elf is, managing to move around and fire positions to shoot his bow and arrow from that others would only dream of. That creativity is what makes him stand out as a true Virgo.

Libra - Lady Galadriel

Cate Blanchett as Galadriel in Lord of the Rings

Lady Galadriel is one of the most powerful and intelligent characters in all of Middle Earth. She is all-seeing and all-knowing and is always there to try and bring peace to everyone. She gives council to Gandalf throughout the journey with the dwarves and is always there to give some advice.

A Libra prefers to avoid conflict, and it is rare that Lady Galadriel will involve herself too much in any incident. However, her intelligence is also why she would be perfect within this zodiac, as Libras tend to be amongst the smartest of the zodiacs.

Scorpio - Dwalin

Dwalin from the Company of Dwarves in The Hobbit

When it comes to being a Scorpio, it is all about bravery and determination. Few people within The Hobbit showcase that better than Dwalin, who is arguably the strongest member of the company and someone who is a very fierce competitor.

When it comes to fighting, there are few people better equipped than Dwalin. Scared of nothing and happy to throw himself in the line of fire whenever needed, his bravery and fighting skills really make him shine as a strong member of the group.

Sagittarius - Radagast

Radagast the Brown in The Hobbit.

Radagast the brown is heavily featured throughout The Hobbit trilogy, bringing another wizard into the Middle Earth world. While he doesn't feature at all in Lord Of The Rings, he has a big part to play here, living out in the woods, he is the first to sense real danger growing with a darker presence.

Radagast is unlike Gandalf or Saruman in the sense that he is a real free spirit. He travels around with bird poo encrusted on his head, living his life connected to the animals, rather than other humans. His personality is very free, and he is open-minded to lots of things, which makes him a great Sagittarius.

Capricorn - The Master Of Laketown

The master escaping from the burning city

Played to perfection by Stephen Fry, The Master Of Laketown is a despicable character from The Hobbit who is all about greed and taking from those he supposedly serves in order to help himself. The main reason for this is his own selfish ambition.

That ambitious nature to be as rich and powerful as possible is what makes him a Capricorn, even if he uses these traits in a very negative manner. He's determined and consistent with his beliefs, which also lend to him being a Capricorn, even if he's one of the villains of the trilogy.
