Yellowstone's spinoff story of The Madison follows Stacy Clyburn (Michelle Pfeiffer), a woman who relocates her family from New York to Montana following the tragic death of her husband in a plane crash. Other core cast portraying various important characters include Patrick J. Adams, Elle Chapman, Matthew Fox, Beau Garrett, Amiah Miller, and Ben Schnetzer. As of writing, it's unclear just how direct the show's connection to Yellowstone is going to be.

Now, Variety has confirmed four new actors will be ing The Madison, those being Kevin Zegers, Rebecca Spence, Alaina Pollack, and Danielle Vasinova. Zegers plays Cade, Stacy's neighbor and previous caretaker of her Montana home. Spence portrays Liliana Weeks, another woman from New York City who's friends with the protagonist. Polloack is Abigail's (Garrett) daughter Macy, who is familiar with life in New York. And Vasinova arrives as Kestrel, wife of a Montana rancher with an indigenous background. Out of all the actors, Vasinova is familiar with the series' universe already, also starring in 1923 season 2 as Ata Waipa.

What The Madison's Expanded Cast Means For The Yellowstone Spinoff

Plenty Of New Perspectives Are Being Introduced

There were no hints about how The Madison will fit into the larger franchise by the end of Yellowstone, signaling the show will help usher in a new beginning for its universe. The new characters show just how expansive the perspectives in the spinoff will be, from Stacy's neighbors and friends to characters whose larger roles are currently unclear. However, much like the number of characters introduced throughout the main show, this spinoff could be shaping up to tell a multitude of complex stories with its newcomers.

The most curious addition is still Vasinova, though, whose role in 1923 season 2 will be fully revealed when the show comes back in February 2025. As of writing, it's unclear if Kestrel and Ata Waipa have some kind of connection to one another, despite being 100 years apart. Her character could end up being the connective tissue between The Madison and Yellowstone, depending on if her casting in both shows was meant to evoke a connection between them.

The Story Is Promising A Number Of Interesting Directions

Alongside Kestrel, it seems every other new character involved can offer a different perspective The Madison can explore and add onto its story. Zegers' Cade could be a guide of sorts for the Clyburns, given his familiarity with the house and Montana as a whole. Spence's Liliana provides a past connection for Stacy, one that could involve unforeseen developments despite her new life. With plenty of new tales that can be told with its cast, the Yellowstone spinoff is promising fresh perspectives to differentiate the series.
