FOX show in countries including Great Britain, Australia, and .
To date, there have been three seasons, with the third is still currently airing. Over thirty celebrities have been revealed to Nick Cannon and the celebrity ists, with a variety of big, surprising names including Patti LaBelle. There are still plenty of people who have not donned an elaborate costume as of yet. Read on for ten people who should be on season four of The Masked Singer.
Kevin Jonas
One-third of the Jonas Brothers with his younger brothers Joe and Nick, Kevin Jonas is somewhat of an odd man out. While the band has been successful for over a decade, Kevin has not reached the heartthrob status of either of his bandmates/brothers. The fact that he married young and started a family at the height of the band's success may be a contributing factor to this.
Doing The Masked Singer would give Jonas a chance to have the spotlight to himself and incorrect guess for The Rottweiler in season two. That, as well as having two young daughters could be enough motivation to do the show, as it has for other stars in the past.
Candace Cameron Bure
Known for playing DJ Tanner on long-running sitcoms Fuller House, as well as starring in Christmas movies for Hallmark, Bure has also been an incorrect guess in the past. Her recognizability as DJ (she played the role for a combined thirteen seasons across two shows) would be a major coup for The Masked Singer and the show could have a lot of fun with the clues to hint at her identity.
With Fuller House soon ending on Netflix, The Masked Singer could be a fun side gig before jumping into another long-term work commitment. Bure's status as a star of a beloved sitcom would also bring in the countless fans who are adamant of her identity to The Masked Singer's audience.
Josh Dallas
Josh Dallas is known for a number of roles, including Prince Charming/David Nolan on ABC's Thor movie back in 2011. Before achieving Hollywood success, American-born Dallas trained in London and worked professionally in the Royal Shakespeare Company for a number of years.
While his busy schedule on Manifest would make it unlikely that he could do the show, Dallas would be a fun addition. He showed his singing chops in an episode of Once Upon a Time and similarly to past contestants, has young children who he could do this for. His clues would probably also be very fairytale based, as per Once, which would surely be interesting to uncover.
Ariel Winter
Having gained recognition since 2009 for playing Alex Dunphy on Phineas and Ferb, Winter has become recognizable enough that many of The Masked Singer viewers would be aware of who she is.
Earlier in season three, along with her on-screen sister Sarah Hyland (Haley Dunphy), Ariel was a guess for the Kitty mask. While it does not seem likely that this is Winter, the same kind of idea could inspire her to eventually do the show; reinventing yourself after people know you for mainly one thing.
Seth MacFarlane
Multi-talented writer, animator, comedian and voice-over artist on shows such as The Orville, MacFarlane's singing talent is a lesser-known ability in his repertoire. Of course, MacFarlane can change his voice to sound different when he sings - he voices Family Guy characters Peter, Stewie and Brian Griffin, all of whom have unique vocal attributes.
MacFarlane has a long relationship with FOX through his animated shows and later The Orville, which would make approaching him somewhat easier. Furthermore, before he even sang a note, MacFarlane was a guess for The Frog in season three, based on the character's appearance.
Alyson Stoner
Stoner has been in the entertainment industry for almost two decades. Whether it's the Cheaper By The Dozen movies opposite Steve Martin, Disney's Camp Rock or voicing Isabella in Phineas and Ferb, she has been in countless beloved projects. In addition to acting, Stoner is also a singer with the added ability to be able to sing in the voice of Isabella.
With some of Stoner's contemporaries who became famous in the same time frame already taking part, this possibility is more open. It would be an interesting way to surprise longterm fans while also maybe gaining some new ones by relying solely on her voice.
Neil Patrick Harris
Veteran actor Harris, known for television shows Doogie Howser MD, Gone Girl, has been wanted on The Masked Singer for quite some time. Back in season one, he was a guess for Peacock, the eventual runner-up.
Within his multi-talented showmanship, Harris has previously worked with judge Nicole Scherzinger and season 2 winner Wayne Brady, has a likable public persona and based on his previous comedic background, would be a lot of fun to see performing week after week.
Miranda Cosgrove
Miranda Cosgrove started acting at a young age, starring in Despicable Me series of films. She also embarked on a music career in the 2010s with her album "Sparks Fly".
Now in her twenties, Cosgrove has yet to find the project to give her the same level of success that she had as a child. Given that so many people who grew up watching Cosgrove's shows are now also adults, her appearance on The Masked Singer would a major throwback/nostalgia-fest. It could also provide an opportunity to re-enter music, with her last foray being in 2011.
Jennifer Hudson
Hudson famously finished seventh on the third season of Dreamgirls. Between 2017 and 2019, Hudson was a coach on The Voice UK, sticking to her televised competition roots.
Like season two's runner-up, Hudson's appearance on The Masked Singer could give her a chance at redemption on a FOX singing competition, after finishing undeservedly low. Her recognizable vocals would follow Gladys Knight, Patti LaBelle, Chaka Khan and Dionne Warwick as prominent female African-American singers who have starred on the show across the three seasons to date.
Jack Black
A veteran comedic actor, Black has had roles in classics such as School of Rock, Jumanji films. Since 1994, Black has also been a member of Tenacious D, a comedy-rock duo alongside actor-musician Kyle Gass. Between 2001 and 2018, the group has released four studio albums.
Early season three predictions had theorized Black being on the show, which turned out not to be the case. However, the combination of his eccentric comedic style, musical talents, and a suitable costume would be formidable on The Masked Singer.
