A new trailer has been revealed for Australia's two more remakes of The Office have been confirmed to be in development, with an Australian version coming next month.

Now, Prime Video AU & NZ has released the trailer for The Office. Check it out below:

The trailer opens with this show's version of The Office boss asking for a drumroll as she is about to make a big announcement. Much to the chagrin of the company's employees, she announces that the whole staff will be "back in the office, full-time." The trailer then introduces the key characters, including Lizze, a recently-promoted staff member who brings her pet crow with her to work. It also shows its mockumentary roots through the interviews shown on screen.

The announcement also confirmed that this version of The Office would arrive at Prime Video on October 18. Though the Australian version will be available in over 240 countries, it will not be available in the United States on this date. The Australian remake features a leading cast of Felicity Ward, Edith Poor, Steen Raskopoulos, Shari Sebbens, Jonny Brugh, Josh Thompson, and Raj Labade. This iteration was developed by Julie De Fina and Jackie van Beek.

Every Season Of The Office, Ranked By Rewatchability

The Office is still one of the most streamed TV shows in the world. But some of its nine seasons are more rewatchable than others.

In this version, the likes of Wernham Hogg or Dunder Mifflin are replaced by the fictional Australian company Flinley Craddick. This is a packing company that is overseen by boss Hannah Howard. Her employees include Lizze, the productivity manager who takes on the equivalent role of Gareth/Dwight. Also included in the office environment are Nick (a Tim/Jim stand-in role), and Greta, a role akin to Dawn/Pam. This project is completely separate from the NBC reboot of The Office, which is still in development.

How This Version Of The Office Differs From Before

This Office Has A Female Lead

Looking at this trailer for The Office, I think the most glaring difference between this version and previous renditions is turning the lead boss character into a woman. Both David Brent and Michael Scott, the most famous versions of the lead character, are easily-irritated men. Hannah Howard seems less inflammatory in nature, creating much more of a "girlboss" energy than anything too dictatorial. Though the series might not be available in the United States for some time, it will be interesting to see how these differences translate to the Australian version of the show.
