Adam DeVine as Owen Browning

Adam Devine plays Owen Browning, who is about to get married to the love of his life, Parker. He is a bank manager with a three-step security measure to protect the money inside. When Owen meets his in-laws for the first time he tries to bond with them. However, once his bank is robbed he finds clues that suggest the people who just robbed him were actually his soon-to-be family.

DeVine's is no stranger to comedy. His break-out role was as Bumper Allen in Pitch Perfect, to which he had a spin-off TV Show in 2022. He continued his comedic roles in shows like Workaholics, Modern Family, and The Righteous Gemstones. He also starred alongside Rebel Wilson in Isn't it Romantic in 2019.

Pierce Brosnan as Billy McDermott

Pierce Brosnan plays Billy McDermott, Parker's father and bank thief. He and his wife decide to come to their daughter's wedding, as they are said to be working overseas and were not originally going to make the trip. When he meets Owen for the first time he seems eager for him to prove why he should be allowed to marry his daughter.

Brosnan has a plethora of roles in both drama and comedy and is best known for his time as James Bond in GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough, and Die Another Day. He also appeared in the musical comedy Mama Mia. The Out-Laws is not even the first time he has played a thief as he was also a billionaire art thief in the film The Thomas Crown Affair.

Ellen Barkin plays Lilly McDermott, who is the mother of the bride as she and her husband decide to attend Parker's wedding at the last minute. As Lily and her husband Billy meet Owen, they take great lengths to test whether he is the right fit for their daughter. As for Barkin herself, the American actress had her breakout role playing Beth in the 1982 film Diner. One of her most well-known roles was in 1989s Sea of Love where she played opposite Al Pacino. She has 71 acting credits to her name and can be seen in classic films such as, Drop Dead Gorgeous, The Big Easy, and The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension.​​​​​​

Nina Dobrev plays Parker McDermott, Owen Browning's fiance. Parker hopes her parents and Owen will bond in time for the wedding and is thrilled at their decision to attend – despite their obvious doubts about her husband-to-be. Dobrev began her acting career on the high school drama series Degrassi. From there she moved on to playing the iconic role of Elena Gilbert in the long-running CW drama The Vampire Diaries. She has since appeared in comedies such as Love Hard and Workaholics, where she and DeVine worked together for the first time and formed their chemistry for The Out-Laws.

Michael Rooker's Agent Oldman is assigned to the case of the bank robbery of Owen's vault. He can tell that Owen is hiding something from him, and stays on the case to catch the true culprits. Rooker made his film debut playing the title role in the 1986 film Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer, which was based on the confessions of serial killer Henry Lee Lucas. He continued his dramatic work in Eight Men Out, Mississippi Burning, and JFK. The experienced Rooker also ended up flexing his comedy chops while portraying the iconic role of Yondu Udonta in The Guardians of the Galaxy franchise.

Poorna Jagannathan as Rehan

Poorna Jagannathan plays Rehan, the boss of the McDermotts and a force to be reckoned with. Jagannathan is best known for her portrayal of Safar Khan in the HBO drama miniseries The Night Of. She also played Nalini Vishwakumar in the Netflix comedy series Never Have I Ever. She has also been in shows like Better Call Saul, The Act, Ramy, Big Little Lies, and The Wilds.

Julie Hagerty as Margie Browning: Julie Hagerty plays Margie Browning who is Owen's eccentric mother. Hagerty is well-known for her comedic roles such as Elaine in the films Airplane! and Airplane II: The Sequel. Hagerty has also been in A Midsummer Night's Sex Comedy, Lost in America, and She's the Man.

Richard Kind as Neil Browning: Richard Kind plays Neil Browning, Owen's judgmental father, who is not happy with the prospect of Parker's parents missing her wedding. Kind is an American actor and comedian. He is known for his role as DR. Mark Devanow in Mad About You and Andy in Curb Your Enthusiasm. Kind has also been in dramatic films like Argo and Bombshell. Lil Rel Howery as Tyree: Lil Rel Howery plays Tyree, Owen's friend and coworker at the bank. Howery is an American actor and comedian that is best known for his comedic relief moments in the horror film Get Out. He is also known for playing Robert in the NBC comedy series The Carmichael Show.

Laci Mosley as Marisol: Laci Mosley plays Marisol who is Owen's friend and coworker at his bank. Mosley is an American actor and comedian that co-starred in the comedy series Florida Girls. She is also well-known for her podcast Scan Goddess. Mosley can be seen in HBO's A Black Lady Sketch Show and the iCarly reboot.

Blake Anderson as Cousin RJ: Blake Anderson plays Cousin RJ, who is on Owen's side of the family. Anderson has worked alongside DeVine and Dobrev before in the Comedy Central series Workaholics. He can also be seen on Woke, Mixed-ish, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
