With this in mind, the premiere episode of The Penguin, "After Hours", will air at 9PM ET on Thursday, September 19th on HBO, and will be available on Max simultaneously. Subsequent episodes are set to move to Sunday nights beginning on September 29th. Following this, each episode of the crime drama will air weekly until the end of the series. This move to HBO's coveted Sunday night timeslot is auspicious for the program.

The Penguin is confirmed to air for 8 episodes. The series will move from its Thursday start to a Sunday night timeslot, airing one episode weekly.
