Many of the cast from ending of The Recruit season 1, Noah Centineo's Owen Hendricks, a newly hired CIA attorney, faces an entirely new espionage journey in season 2.

Season 1 of The Recruit followed Owen's rollercoaster relationship with former Russian CIA asset Max (Laura Haddock), whose involvement in season 2 had been one of the biggest lingering unsolved mysteries. The most exciting addition to The Recruit season 2's cast is Teo Yoo, who rose to prominence from his star role alongside Greta Lee in the 2024 Best Picture nominee Past Lives. Centineo made his acting debut in the 2009 adventure comedy film The Gold Retrievers and went on to star as Jesus Adams Foster in multiple seasons of The Fosters (2015-2018).
