Fans of Netflix's new reality series The couples ed The Ultimatum because the significant other who is ready for marriage is tired of waiting around and is ready to move on if it turns out there is someone better for them.
April issued an ultimatum for her boyfriend Jake Cunningham because she's ready to get married and start a family. However, the two seem to be on very different pages, as Jake got out of the military just a year before ing the show and wants more time to be free and enjoy his life. Jake quickly made a connection with fellow participant Rae Williams, and when it was time to decide who he would be spending the next three weeks with, he immediately chose her. April, on the other hand, seemed to have a harder time choosing between Nathan Ruggles and Hunter Parr but ultimately went with the latter. However, after Hunter proposed to his girlfriend, Alexis Maloney and Nathan proposed to his girlfriend Lauren Pounds, April ended up with Colby Kissingger instead.
After eight episodes of the show, viewers have really taken a liking to April. Fans of the show posted on The Ultimatum star for the kind and genuine speech she gave on the show before participants chose who they wanted to live with. One fan posted, "Every single thing she said at the table speech was 100% true. She is honestly wise beyond her years and very mature."
Other fans feel as though the participant is a great person but needs to love herself more and find someone who will love her better than Jake does. Some of the other participants that fans think are less mature than April include Alexis and Madelyn Ballatori. During the first episode of the show, Alexis thought she had formed a connection with Colby, but when the participant told her he didn't want to pursue things with her, she was seemingly in denial. Alexis also went on about how much she prioritizes money in her life and relationship, making it very clear she isn't interested in anyone who isn't making a significant amount per year.
April certainly seems like a king, a self-assured woman who knows what she wants. It's good to see that fans are enjoying watching her on the show. While fans won't find out until the finale and reunion where things stand with her and Jake, it seems they're hoping she'll end things with her boyfriend. Whatever does happen, though, fans are rooting for her growth and happiness on The Ultimatum before all else.
The Ultimatum: Marry Or Move On finale and reunion will be released April 13 on Netflix.
