On Love Is Blind creators, introduced viewers to six couples that were at crossroads in their relationships. These duos were at odds over the prospect of marriage, as in each pair, one partner has issued the other an ultimatum that must be responded to after a three-week separation.
When the couples reunite and spend three more weeks together, Ultimatum Day dawns, bringing three choices. Cast can leave the experiment engaged, separate for good and leave as exes or, depending on the connections made, leave with other cast . They Left The Show Early
Alexis and Hunter ed filming The Ultimatum last spring, and she made her expectations for Hunter and her co-stars clear from day one. With an upfront and outspoken personality, Alexis was not afraid to voice her opinion.
During the first group discussion, Alexis called out Madlyn's partner Colby for a perceived attitude. Just minutes later, Hunter unexpectedly proposed to Alexis. The now 27-year-old happily accepted, and with the blessings of hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey (and the rest of the cast), Alexis and Hunter left the show early.
Despite tapping out of the show's experiment, Alexis did make another The Ultimatum appearance later on. Based on Alexis' Instagram, it looks like she and Hunter were engaged and going strong for a while after the The Ultimatum. ing a photo of the two on the beach last July 2021, Alexis captioned the image, "Happy birthday to my best friend! I love you." Alexis added, "Tying the knot is hot" on their photo, which was also posted on the official The Ultimatum's Instagram . This seemed to be more than just a hint about their current relationship status.
Besides Venmo transactions confirming that Alexis and Hunter were hanging out all the way up until last December, the duo was recently interviewed by Women's Health in April 2022 about their experiences on The Ultimatum.
"I don't regret proposing at all," Hunter told the magazine, explaining, "I knew in order for me to propose to Alexis, I had to have zero doubt in my mind. And when I reached that decision, I still feel that way today."
Agreeing with Hunter, Alexis continued, "For us, it was perfect. I think we're stronger going through it and seeing the other side," before adding, "I regret zero other than probably wearing my hair up during [our] engagement."
Based on their conversation with Women's Health, it was almost guaranteed that Alexis and Hunter would ger married in the future. And that certainly happened. The pair shared the first photos from their wedding in June 2022. Alexis has posted a slew of wedding photos since then. In their married life, the pair have been focused on jet-setting and rubbing their happiness in the faces of The Ultimatum fans.
Alexis & Hunter Are Having Fertility Issues
They've Had An IVF Journey
Alexis and Hunter have been desperately trying to enter parenthood together, but they have encountered obstacles with Alexis' fertility which has caused them to seek the help of IVF. Alexis has been documenting her and Hunter's IVF journey through an Instagram Highlight Reel titled "IVF."
They have been doing rounds of IVF for the last year, but have been unsuccessful.
Alexis and Hunter have already suffered a miscarriage, and Alexis has identified another problem keeping her from becoming pregnant, and one that requires surgery.
Alexis' latest update was from November 2024, where she described what she was going through.
"Getting a surgery this month to fix a uterine septum & polyp that was found by doing a saline sonogram and HSG test."
The Ultimatum couple is putting their IVF journey on hold until 2025, and until Alexis' current medical problem gets addressed and fixed.
Outside of their IVF journey, Alexis, who has 231,000 followers on her verified Instagram . She is on Cameo and also points fans in the direction of her promotional brand partnerships, signifying that she is now an influencer.
