A new trailer for The Unholy Trinity sees Pierce Brosnan trade gunfire with Samuel L. Jackson in their Western movie. Set in 1870s Montana, the forthcoming movie also stars Robert the Bruce’s Brandon Lessard as Henry Broadway, a young man tasked with avenging the wrongful execution of his father. His quest for vengeance brings Henry to the small rural community of Trinity, where he finds himself placed between the town’s new sheriff (Brosnan) and a strange figure from his father’s past (Jackson).
Now, RoadsideFlix has released a new trailer showcasing The Unholy Trinity’s stellar cast and introducing Brosnan and Jackson’s latest Western characters. Opening with Jackson’s mysterious Saint Christopher questioning Henry about his father, the trailer moves on to show Brosnan’s Sheriff Gabriel Dove cautioning him about keeping his relationship with the hanged man a secret. Things begin to heat up when it is revealed that Saint Christopher is looking for a cache of stolen gold that Henry’s father had hidden before his death. Check out the new trailer below:
What This Trailer Means For The Unholy Trinity
Brosnan & Jackson's New Western Appears To Hit The Right Notes
Despite their already extensive careers and impressive filmographies, The Unholy Trinity marks the first time that Brosnan and Jackson have worked together onscreen. With both actors having previously worked in the genre, with Brosnan starring in 2006’s Seraphim Falls and Jackson in Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight, this new team-up promises an exciting take for fans of Westerns and of the actors themselves. Arriving in theaters on June 13, The Unholy Trinity is directed by Richard Gray (Murder at Yellowstone City), and also stars Veronica Ferres, Gianni Capaldi, Q’orianka Kilcher, Tim Daly, Ethan Peck, Katrina Bowden, and David Arquette.

20 Best Westerns Of All Time
From Quentin Tarantino's works to John Wayne and Clint Eastwood, the best Western movies make up a special collection of films.
Hinting at an action-packed, revenge thriller heightened by the tantalizing prospect of a hidden treasure, this new trailer also serves to establish how Lessard’s Henry Broadway finds himself caught between Trinity’s new lawman and a mysterious figure who claims to know much about his wrongly condemned father. Hitting many familiar notes, The Unholy Trinity appears to tap directly into well-established tropes that have made Western movies an audience favorite for decades.
Our Take On The Unholy Trinity’s Trailer
The Movie's Biggest Names Will Need To Avoid Overshadowing Their Newest Co-star
While the trailer for The Unholy Trinity intentionally plays on the abundant star power of Brosnan and Jackson, it is also clear that Lessard’s character is the movie’s true focus. While the actor has enjoyed several ing roles over the years, including previous Western outings in 2022’s The Redeemer and Murder at Yellowstone City, this latest role will place him squarely between two of the biggest names in Hollywood. However, if the trailer is any indication, Lessard’s tenure as Henry Broadway does not appear to be overshadowed by his more well-known co-stars.
