With a new season of Nick would be returning to replace Gwen Stefani. Gwen announced she would be taking some time away, most likely to focus on planning her wedding to Blake Shelton.

Nick originally started on The Voice as a part-time advisor during season eight. At the time, he was part of Christina Aguilera's team. He did not return to the show for 10 seasons. When he did make his judging debut, he took the place of longtime judge Adam Levine. As he and his brothers were in the midst of getting their band back together, he chose both Kevin and Joe Jonas to be his team's advisors for his first season. Now that he is back in the red chair, he hopes to bring home a win this season for Team Nick.

Music was in his blood from a young age, as his father was a musician for the family's local church. Nick started his career at just six years old. He would often show off his talent in plays and musicals. He made his Broadway debut at seven years old when he played Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol. Nick and his father soon started writing songs together, leading Nick to get signed by a record label for the first time. His older brothers, Kevin and Joe, soon ed in on the fun as the Jonas Brothers were formed. The brothers went on to have a successful career together before calling it quits in 2013.

During his time away from the band, Jumanji. Nick and his brothers later reunited for a comeback in 2019. One year prior to their return, Nick married his wife, Priyanka Chopra, at an extravagant wedding. After tying the knot, Nick and Priyanka were said to combine their net worths, totaling an estimated $50 million (via Cheat Sheet). It is unknown what Nick's individual net worth would currently be. However, in 2019 it was said to be around $25 million. The couple plans to soon start a family together, hoping to have a few kids of their own.

As touring was put on hold due to COVID-19 restrictions, Nick decided to use his newfound free time to help singers follow their dreams. With four nights of blind auditions under his belt, Nick is growing a team of strong singers to help him bring home the first win for Team Nick on The Voice. As of now, it is unknown how many seasons Nick plans to stay on the show.
