Michonne ed season 1, dragging along her two walkers, each with hands and teeth chopped off. Her skill with the sword has especially been invaluable to the team, helping them fight off the largest hoards of walkers with much ease. She was the katana of the show who has since gained a cult fan following. Her value to the entire show peaked when she fell in love with Rick and later made the sane leader of the group after his exit.
She had since natured Judith, Rick's daughter, into a fearsome warrior and inspired a strong bond with her half brother. Fans least expected her sudden exit, and the reason for her departure couldn't help but give the fans hope of not just her return but that of Rick, as well. That is why fans have so many theories about her future, some good and some super hilarious.
Hilariously Bad: She Will Become The Villain
Normally, there would be no reason to expect the worst from Michonne, but after her actions just before her departure, many were left wondering whether she could actually switch sides. Michonne had become more erratic and less trusting. She also seems to blame herself for many deaths, including Carl's. Some fans couldn't help but suggest that she is the next villain in the show.
The show has not given any suggestion as to who the enemy of peace will be after the Alpha's death. Mochonne's hallucinations, while abducted by Virgil, also showed her turning on her former friends, including Rick. This is why many think that she may make a shocking discovery about Rick in her quest and come back a changed person, a killer even. This theory is, however, ridiculous because Michonne seems willing to help two strangers just before the end of her alleged last episode on the show.
Perfect: She s A Team To Find The Cure
There is nothing Michonne hasn't done to try and create a place safe enough to call home. It is reasonable to expect her to want more of that now that she is a mother and her two children are her whole world. When she sets off to follow clues that may help her find Rick, she stumbles on a group of strangers that are trying to catch up with a huge caravan. The group seems organized and focussed on reaching somewhere.
Most fans seem to agree that rumors of a cure could be the only cause for the caravan's hurry. It seems obvious that Michonne may them after she beheads her two latest walker bodyguards. Finding a cure could prove to be a more valid mission than finding Rick. Hopefully, she finds both.
Hilariously Bad: She Dies
All rumors before Michonne's last episode on the show suggested that she wasn't planning on coming back. She is, however, an important part of the whole story now, which is why the producers will have to give some explanation about her fate. With Judith and her brother safe in the hands of Daryl, it seems fine to kill off Michonne according to some fans because she doesn't have any more significance to the show.
This theory is, however, too hilarious considering Michonne's unbeatable fighting spirit. It is hard to imagine any villain powerful enough to end her. Moreover, she and Rick are now the only characters that can end the story conclusively and it wouldn't be fair to the fans if they just died.
Perfect: She Finds A New Community
This seems rather obvious, considering she meets a whole caravan of people just before the end of her last episode. It is, however, hard to imagine Michonne leaving Judith, Daryl and the others, considering they are her family. This new community may also not be as welcoming as you may imagine because they had just left two of their own behind when Michonne meets them.
If you consider the possible hostility of the new crew, you will conclude that Michonne will not be able to call this new group her family. However, considering Michonnenever felt at home in Alexandria in the first place, it sounds possible for her to another community for a change but only if her children will come, too.
Hilariously Bad: She Kills Rick
Michonne's main mission after her last conversation with Judith is finding "the brave Man", who is Rick in this case. The main clue that Michonne has in finding him is a message scribbled on the screen of a smartphone in Japanese. Considering Judith seems older in the sketch than she was when Rick last saw her, many fans assumed Rick had seen her during the period of the time jump.
The fans then imagined which version of Rick would leave his family and stick with Jadis and the helicopter group that took him away. Some fans assumed that Rick fell in love with Jadis and decided to abandon Michonne, resorting to foster the human trafficking trade they do. If Mochonne decides to fight that group, she may have to kill Rick along with them. However, how will Michonne kill Rick considering her love for him?
Perfect: She Saves Rick
This is probably the most perfect fan theory so far, which only comes to if things go according to Michonne's plan. There are rumors that Michonne will feature alongside Rick in an The Walking Dead.
Nothing is clear about what happened to Rick since he was taken by the helicopter, which is why his being in danger cannot be written off. Being saved by Michonne before resuming their mission of saving the world is the most perfect ending fans could expect.
Hilariously Bad: She Will Never Come Back
Before the 13th episode of season 10, Danai Gurira, who plays Michonne, made it clear that this would be her last adventure with The Walking Dead cast. Although the end of the episode did not show her death, some fans were pessimistic enough to believe that this is true. In her last scene on the show, she is ready to or take on another group that looks armed and may well be a group of human traffickers.
Some fans believe that the new group is doing the same work as Jadis when she collected bodies for the people with the helicopter. According to them, this may well be the end for Michonne. It would be, however, cruel of the show to give Michonne such a gruesome end.
Perfect: She Finds Maggie
Georgie to start a new community with the commonwealth.
According to some fans, that community may well be up and running by now if you factor in the six-year time jump. That would make it reasonable for Michonne to bump into her and create another haven for the group, considering the current ruined state of Alexandria, Hilltop, and The Kingdom.
Hilariously Bad: She Becomes Negan
Negan is the toughest villain the group has faced so far and since he is now feeling betrayed by Carol and Daryl, it seems possible to assume he will become a villain again. In Michonne's hallucinations, while abducted on the island, she is seen fighting on the same side as Negan.
It is, however, hard to think of any reason that would cause Michonne to change into such a person. Besides, this doesn't seem to be any reason for Negan to go back to his old evil self.
Perfect: She Goes To Canada
So far, the show has concentrated on the U.S., so we don't know what has happened to other countries, especially Canada. The most logical explanation is that some form of civilization is thriving up north and Georgie seems to have been a part of it.
Many fans believe that there is a community there set up by the commonwealth. When Michone spoke to Judith, she said she was headed north, the same direction the helicopter that carried Rick and Jadis. If this is the case, then the show may continue in a haven in Canada, away from the herds of walkers they have experienced so far.
