Warning: SPOILERS ahead for The Walking Dead: Dead City season 2, episode 3!Dead City season 2, episode 3 brought the series' core protagonists the closest they've been since season 1, when Negan kills a member of the Burazi to save Hershel (Logan Kim). He disappears afterward, but Maggie is now determined to find him, becoming notably obsessive about why he saved her son. Meanwhile, he's continuing to be forced to work for the Dama and the Croat (Željko Ivanek).
Now, AMC (via WotNot) has released a trailer for Dead City season 2, episode 4, which confirms that Maggie and Negan will finally be reunited. It also teases the Dama visiting other leaders in New York City, including Bruegel (Kim Coates), to shape alliances against the New Babylon Federation. Other highlights include another Walker fighting pen, Perlie (Gaius Charles) ing Maggie and Hershel on a mission, and the painting "Washington Crossing the Delaware" burning. Check out the trailer below:
What Dead City Season 2, Episode 4's Trailer Means For The Show
Maggie & Negan's Reunion Will Be A Major Moment
Maggie and Negan's reunion has been teased since the end of Dead City season 1, when she vowed to go back to potentially rescue him from the Croat. However, season 2 has proven this mission easier said than done, especially now that both major characters are working for different villainous factions. Based on the trailer, it seems their reunion will take place near the zombie fighting ring, their stories intersecting either before or after the battle inside. Whatever happens, it will show each of them which side the other is now fighting for.

The Walking Dead Is Teasing Negan's Death (If AMC Is Brave Enough To Do It)
Negan has become one of The Walking Dead's most important survivors, but Dead City may quietly be alluding to his death despite how unlikely it seems.
The Dama forging alliances with new characters in Dead City season 2 sets the stage for her long-term plans for Manhattan. However, based on his appearance in the trailer, it seems like Bruegel has his own ideas as well. Not much is known about him other than he holds significant power in the city, making the attempted alliance something that could backfire if the main antagonist isn't careful. Even so, her mistrust of New Babylon and their intentions in New York City means she has to try and unite powerful groups by any means necessary.
Our Take On The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 2, Episode 4's Trailer
The Show's Main Groups Are Finally Colliding
Maggie and Negan's reunion will be the first direct interaction between the Dama's group and New Babylon since the latter arrived on the island. While it's unclear how far the conflict will go in the forthcoming episode, the tensions between both groups are likely going to be on full display once the core characters meet again. What this means for their fates is unclear, but Dead City will probably offer compelling exploration into how their personal feud reflects the wider narrative's conflict.
