Parker Posey would love to appear in another season of The White Lotus season 4 has already been confirmed. Though the show has largely focused on beachfront locations in Hawaii, Italy, and Thailand, the next season is expected to avoid the ocean in favor of an all-new setting. The Ratliff family could have appeared in the new hotel, but season 3's ending made that unlikely, given that they may no longer have the funding to travel internationally.

After that stunning twist ending, Posey spoke with ScreenRant's Joe Deckelmeier at The White Lotus at FanExpo Dallas. She was extremely excited to see the audience's response to Victoria, especially with many viewers wishing to see her experiencing a "full-on screaming breakdown". She still hopes to see Victoria appear in another season, though she its that it is entirely up to the show's creator, Mike White. Check out her comments below:

ScreenRant: Everybody was waiting see the Ratliff family's crash and burn after everything that happened in the season. Was there ever a version of the script where you were they found out earlier? What do you think that boat ride conversation was going back?

Parker Posey: I loved that reaction that people were having; that they wanted to see the freak-out. And I think it's a real indicator that what you had seen was eliciting a feeling in you; wanting more from that character to really lose it.

I would love it if there was another season, where we could have a full-on screaming breakdown. That'd be so much fun, and I could throw myself off the boat, maybe. Then I'd find a buoy and be rescued by someone. [Laughs] But no matter what happens with her, she's gonna be okay. And I think that in Mike's world, he would write her as surviving on.

ScreenRant: Could Victoria show up with another husband the next season, still living the life, and maybe Facetiming her kids every now and then?

Parker Posey: She's not much of a mother. Her love comes from the money, which I think is Victoria's family. You play a part, and you have your own backstory, but then it's up to the audience to fill it all in. So, it doesn't really matter; that's in Mike's hands. But who knows? I'd love to go back to the show and see the aftermath of Tim in prison.

What Victoria's Potential Return Means For The White Lotus

It Is Not Guaranteed

Victoria's return is somewhat unlikely, given that The White Lotus' season 3 finale left Timothy (Jason Isaacs) with the realization that his family could soon be poor. Victoria's reaction to that news was never explored, as White preferred to leave it to the imagination. If they are poor, booking luxurious accommodation through the White Lotus hotel chain is an unlikely decision, as the fees to stay are likely obscene. If it does happen, then Timothy has engaged in yet another underhanded scheme, which would undermine his character development from this past season.

The unfortunate truth is that audiences never had the opportunity to see Victoria's reaction to the new reality for the Ratliffs.

Still, there is the chance that Victoria could return in another form. She could find a new partner, or she could go into debt to maintain her place in the world of luxury and riches. That response is certainly worth exploring, given that Victoria was fascinating in season 3. The White Lotus' cast is filled with rich and self-obsessed characters, but she is likely the most insular. As Posey explained, "her love comes from the money," which is why it would be thrilling to see her reaction to lacking that money.

There Is More To Explore With Victoria

The unfortunate truth is that audiences never had the opportunity to see Victoria's reaction to the new reality for the Ratliffs. As Posey implied, her "full-on screaming breakdown" would have been one of the most interesting scenes in the show. While that initial realization was never shown, it would be interesting to see her long-term response to living like a normal person. As Deckelmeier stated, she could find "another husband", but that remains an open question. Audiences deserve to see how Victoria responded to The White Lotus' finale.
