THEM season 2 gets an updated release window after a two-year absence. Debuting on Prime Video in April 2021 with Little Marvin as the creator and Emmy-winning Lena Waithe as executive producer, the first installment of THEM was set in 1953. The story centered on a Black family whose lives turn into a nightmare when they move to an all-White neighborhood in Los Angeles. The cast included Deborah Ayorinde, Ashley Thomas, Alison Pill, Shahadi Wright Joseph, Melody Hurd, and Ryan Kwanten.

What To Expect From THEM Season 2
THEM season 1 centers on the Emroys, a Black family that moves from North Carolina to an all-White neighborhood in Los Angeles during the Second Great Migration. But their hopes for a perfect home slowly transform into an epicenter of evil forces, both regular and otherworldly, that threaten to destroy them.
Despite questions about THEM's season 1 ending, season 2 will feature a time jump. Once again set in Los Angeles County, the period moves to 1991. The story centers on LAPD Detective Dawn Reeve (Ayorinde, in a new role) as she's assigned to a gruesome murder case that's left even the most hardened detectives shaken. But as she draws closer to the truth, something malevolent grips Dawn and her family.
