After being in development hell for years, Justice League to show the DCEU's grand scale.

But fans also have a lot of demands for the movie, and given how much they want to see in the DCEU release, it's time to manage expectations before they're inevitably disappointed. However, at least two or three of these demands will undoubtedly happen in the film, and audiences will be cheering in the multiplexes when they're on screen.

Doctor Fate Survives

Dr. Fate in Black Adam

Old-butt-new wants to see Kent Nelson, a.k.a. Doctor Fate, survive at the end of the film, simply commenting, "He better not die." They aren't the only Redditor who wants to see Dr. Fate live on and feature in more DC movies, with some even suggesting that he should get his own movie.

Dr. Fate is one of the oldest superheroes ever, and his first appearance was in 1940, making him younger than only Batman and Superman when it comes to the DC character. So, there are tons of material that Warner Bros. could base a movie on. And if the studio wants to expand the universe, which it's been struggling to do for years, Black Adam shouldn't be the hero's only appearance.

Introduce Green Lanterns

Ryan Reynolds as Green Lantern

Almost every adaptation of Green Lantern has been bad, most notably the 2011 CGI fest starring Ryan Reynolds, Deadpool movie.

However, Zack Snyder's Justice League, and it was a set-up that's yet to be paid off. But the Redditor might have to wait a little longer, as a Green Lantern showing up in the 2022 movie is unlikely.

Introduce Wildcat

Wildcat about to attack in the DC Comics

Futuremesayshi7 wants to see an older Justice League character introduced in the movie, Wildcat. If anybody could face off against Black Adam and hold their own, it's Wildcat, who is a world-class heavyweight boxer and MMA fighter. While it sounds like a random demand, there's logic behind the 's pull.

The Redditor posits, "I hope there are more in the JSA. I want Star Man. Wildcat." The most recent Black Adam trailer shows that the movie is setting up the Justice Society of America (JSA), which was the DC superhero team before the Justice League in the Golden Age of DC. And as Dr. Fate is a key member of the JSA, his main role alone hints at more Golden Age characters being introduced.

Bring Back Henry Cavill

Henry Cavill as Superman in Man of Steel

TheGreatDoctorSatan is one of a sea of DC fans who was to see Henry Cavill return as the Man of Steel. The Redditor mentions, "If they managed to have Henry Cavill in the end, the DCEU is officially saved." The most talk around Black Adam isn't about Black Adam at all but Superman, and fans want nothing more than to see the superhero in the movie.

If Cavill doesn't show up, thousands of fans will be bitterly disappointed, but Warner Bros. has done absolutely nothing to make fans expect such a thing, and it has been built up in their heads. Audiences were already Batman v. Superman and help the movie's box office chances tenfold.

Introduce Sandman

The Sandman talking to someone

Sandman has just gotten infinitely more popular than it was just a few months ago, as Netflix faithfully adapted the pitch-black dark comic book into a TV series. It has gotten overwhelmingly positive reviews and become one of Netflix's most-watched shows ever. But because it's a standalone series and has a unique premise, it doesn't seem like it's connected to a larger universe.

However, Sandman was a major character in the DC comic books and was a member of the JSA in Golden Age DC. Jlmicek670 wants to see the character introduced along with other JSA characters, noting, "A big screen Alan Scott would be amazing. And I can’t help it - I love the Golden Age Sandman so much. It would be worth seeing Wesley Dodds in action just once." Despite the resounding success of the Netflix show, there can still be two iterations of the character at the same time.

Don't Set Black Adam Up For A Bigger DCEU Role

Dwayne Johnson in Black Adam movie image

Right now, there is no leader of the Justice League, and fans don't even know what the current status of the Justice League is. Andxel thinks Black Adam could answer all the questions fans still have, but the Redditor doesn't want the movie to set up Black Adam as the DCEU leader.

The Redditor suggests, "I just hope they don't actually make the DCEU Black Adam-centric if the movie does well at the Box Office and that The Rock can cut down on all of that hierarchy of power annoying crap." As Johnson is undoubtedly the most bankable star in the world, it makes sense from a financial standpoint for Warner Bros. to rebuild the DCEU around Black Adam, but that doesn't necessarily equate to the level of quality that DC fans deserve.

A Peacemaker Appearance

Peacemaker.

Despite a movie and TV show about the character having been released within the past 14 months, showdown could continue into the DCEU, too.

The Rock Of Eternity

Billy Batson meeting the Wizard in the Rock Of Eternity in Shazam comics.

The Rock of Eternity has a storied history and is involved in both Shazam and Black Adam's origin stories, but it's especially important in Black Adam's origin. This hopes that it isn't sidelined and that it plays an important role in the release. The Redditor comments, "Really hoping to see Black Adam at the Rock of Eternity in the 'origin' section of the movie."

The Rock appeared in 2019's Shazam! Fury of the Gods.

Kevin Hart Should Play A Dragon

There are few great comedy duos with amazing chemistry these days, but Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson make up for it. Two of Kevin Hart's three highest-grossing movies also star Dwayne Johnson, they have starred in five movies together, and the two have a great working relationship.

Captain_Mexica wants to see Hart in the superhero movie, too. The Redditor notes, "He should be comic relief, whatever role he is in. Maybe a pet or something like a hilarious dog. Or some funny baby dragon who's super annoying and hilarious because that's how I see Kevin Hart." Hart has so much voicework in his portfolio, and the CGI animal characters in The Suicide Squad, such as King Shark, resonated with audiences, so this could surprisingly work.

An Isis Tease

Nashetania wants to see one character teased who hasn't been mentioned that much by other Redditors. The notes, "Looks great, though hopefully, they tease Isis at the end of the movie!" As is the case with every DCEU movie, there will undoubtedly be at least one post-credits scene in the movie, and there's a small chance that the scene could tease Isis.

While Isis's first appearance in the DC universe was in 1975 as an Egyptian goddess, the Redditor is referring to the latest incarnation of the character, who was introduced as recently as 2006. The character was created as a female counterpart to Black Adam and is part of the Shazam family, so it makes sense for her to appear in the 2022 movie.
