Jeff Goldblum teases that his Marvel Cinematic Universe character, Grandmaster, could appear in Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) as Thor in Thor: Love and Thunder that very nearly broke the Internet.

The character of Grandmaster already has a history in the MCU. He first turned up during the credits of Grandmaster survived the events of Infinity War when Thanos snapped his fingers and made half the universe's population disappear. Even after Avengers: Endgame, it's likely that Grandmaster is out there doing something. If anything, the man is sort of like a cockroach, a survivor.

It just so happens that Grandmaster could be involved somehow with events in Thor: Love and Thunder. Goldblum tweeted a tease that suggests Grandmaster might turn up in the film. It's more than just a hint, though, done in true Goldblum fashion, making it pretty clear that Grandmaster will return to the MCU.

Whereas Keanu Reeves is the Internet's boyfriend, Goldblum could very well be the Internet's husband. After a host a docies for the company's Disney+ streaming subscription service.

For Marvel, Goldblum returning as Grandmaster is a no-brainer and something that would make for a great story. Considering his previous relationship with the male Thor, it could get interesting to see what happens when he has to interact with Jane Foster's Thor. Goldblum also has a serious love for the character and has stated as much. He continues to praise his Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi, who will also direct Thor: Love and Thunder. Goldblum's enthusiasm is contagious; fans love him as Grandmaster and want to see him return to the role.
