I couldn't be happier that James Marsden is coming back as Cyclops in Avengers: Doomsday. Deadpool & Wolverine showed how classic X-Men suits are in order, so we will finally be able to see Cyclops with a comic book-accurate look and not black leather. Adding to that, Marvel Studios' X-Men '97 had one of the best depictions of Scott Summers I have ever seen. That clearly shows the studio knows how important he is, so I think Marsden's Cyclops will finally be allowed to shine on the big screen as the leader of the X-Men.
